Rooting...

Having to trust where the seeds have fallen...
waiting for them to take root...
a tender, fragile, and vulnerable time.

Time to be brave,
and recognize that clenched fists won't help
or allow a process to unfold.

Time for letting go
and trusting
that the seeds will produce
strong and enduring roots.
